Childbirth is a life and death process for a mother. A healthy mother is enough to bear a heavy burden during delivery, let alone who has a disease condition as experienced by Mrs. Nur'Afni. This 31-year-old mother had severe pre-eclampsia in her child's pregnancy and during childbirth. Preeclampsia is a complication in pregnancy which is characterized by high blood pressure (hypertension) and signs of organ damage, such as kidney damage which is indicated by high levels of protein in the urine (proteinuria). Preeclampsia is also often known as toxemia or pregnancy-induced hypertension.
Therefore, Ms. Nur'Afni, who initially planned to give birth with the help of a midwife, finally had to be taken to a private hospital in Bandung. At the time of hospital, his blood pressure reaches 170/110 mmHg (normally it is 120/80 mmHg). It was also known that Mrs. Nur'afni was obese. Obesity is a very high fat accumulation in the body so that it makes the body weight outside the ideal limit. As a result, he had to be treated for several days after giving birth.
Mrs. Nur'afni had not had time to register as a member of BPJS (national insurance) because of administrative problems. At the time of childbirth, the situation was emergency, so no one could take care of the BPJS registration. The hospital fee for Ibu Nur'afni is actually not too expensive for some people, but for her husband the cost is quite expensive because his monthly income is only a minimum wage with increasing daily needs.
Let's help Mrs. Nur'afni's medical care!
If she gets help, the donation will be used for the cost of treatment at the hospital which consists of inpatient fees, laboratory tests and medicines.
