Having a second child is a happy moment for parents because the feeling of joy in the birth of a baby will be repeated. However, the birth of Mrs. Yanti's second child was not as perfect as she imagined. Mrs. Yanti's baby was born prematurely with a cesarean delivery process. The baby's weight is very low, which is only 1.2 kg. Babies are said to have low birth weight or LBW if they have a body weight of less than 2500gr (2.5 kg). Some other classifications for low birth weight are: very low birth weight if under 1.5 kg, and extreme low birth weight if under 1 kg. Low birth weight not only affects the baby's condition at birth but also the health and even the survival of the baby. In general, babies who born prematurely or less than 37 weeks of pregnancy have lower birth weights than normal babies. If the baby's weight is low because he/she is born prematurely, the complications that may occur are respiratory problems, increased risk of infection, low blood sugar levels (hypoglycemia), eating disorders, and too many red blood cells that can cause blood to thicken.
Babies who are given the name Adnan experience shortness of retraction and crying moaning at birth, so that the installation of a ventilator and intubation must also be done. The following day ventilator installation was replaced with the installation of Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) breathing aids. Installation of infusion of PICC (Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter) and administration of antibiotics was carried out on Adnan. Adnan's maintenance costs reach tens of millions of rupiah. Unfortunately, Adnan has not been registered with BPJS (national insurance company) due to his birth which is faster than expected (premature). Adnan's father works as a laborer whose income is insufficient to pay for hospital expenses. Adnan's family lives in a rented house for Rp. 800,000 / month. They are very confused looking for ways to pay off the child care costs.
Let's help with Adnan's medical care expenses!
If he gets help, the donation will be used to pay for Adnan's medical care expenses during the hospital at the amount of Rp 40,531,000.
