Since being in the womb, it's been known that Yahya was experiencing growth barriers. Yahya's parents were very worried. In addition, when Yahya was born, he did not immediately cry so that active resuscitation, intubation and oxygen therapy were carried out. This little baby must be treated in the NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) for more than a month (35 days) - not a short time. Yahya's parents continued to pray for the recovery of their children.
After Yahya was discharged from the hospital, there was still an impact from his growth disruption since in the fetus until now. He experienced microcephaly. Microcephaly is a rare nervous system disorder that causes the baby's head to become small and not fully developed. This condition makes the child's brain stop growing properly. This can occur when the baby is still in the womb or in the first few years of birth. Yahya also suffered from malnutrition and was sentenced to stunted. Stunted or Stunting is a problem of chronic malnutrition caused by lack of nutritional intake in a long time due to feeding that is not in accordance with nutritional needs. Stunting begins when the fetus is still in the womb and only appears when the child is two years old.
At present, Yahya routinely check up to the doctor as outpatient care to monitor his nutritional status, optimal growth and complete his immunization. Several investigations have also been carried out such as echocardiography, head ultrasound, hearing and vision evaluation, metabolic nutrition consultation, neurology consultation and laboratory examination. The doctor advised Yahya to consume Infantrini milk to improve his nutrition.
Yahya's father works as a cleaning service and his mother is a housewife. The recommended milk can cost millions of rupiah per month, while the income of a cleaning service is not much. Transportation costs to go back and forth to the hospital became a particular burden. Yahya's parents hope that there would be a way for their children to get milk and get control to the hospital smoothly.
Let's help Yahya to improve his nutrition!
If donations are collected, the funds will be used to help Yahya's transportation costs to the hospital, to buy milk and to pay for laboratory examinations.
